This was by far the least stressful move we have made.
“When preparing to move from Albuquerque, we asked our realtor of a recommendation for a moving company. She suggested Mooney Movers Inc. I had not heard of them but called for an estimate. We received many cards soliciting our business and my plan was to get several quotes. Kathy Baca, the vice president, came to see us. She was professional, knowledgeable and extremely accommodating. (We had sold our home more quickly than we expected and had yet to find a home in our new location so we were not certain about logistics.) Her estimate was resonable, as many boxes, paper and tape as I wanted would be brought whenever I needed them (they subsequently brought materials on three different occasions)at no extra charge. I spoke to several other companies by phone and felt her quote and her accommodations were the best. I was also pleased that the samer person who oversaw the loading of furniture would be unloading at the other end.

Kathy Called me almost weekly to see how she could help during the several months before our move was finalized. The packers who came to pack fine china and crystal were extremely good and very professional. Nothing was broken and they labeled boxes in the way that I requested.

The movers were punctual and extemely professional. They worked quickly and well as a team. The driver was meticulous in taking care of antiques and in cataloguing and labeling everything. We left town before the van. We discovered a box had inadvertently been left (my error not theirs) and the driver went back to the house and picked it up. Thee was no extra charge and he had to go out of his way to do this.

The movers unloaded carefully and again professionally. We had asked them to add another address for the drop off. There was a small charge and they loaded the van to accommodate this. The driver worked with our schedule and met us there as requested.

After the move, we could not find an item, called the office, and Kathy put out a call to the movers and packers. We found it before she called back, but we certainly appreciated her responsiveness.
